10.4: Quicktime Player annoyance...
Posted by dom on Wed May 04 21:47:42 +0200 2005Even with Quicktime 7 a running quicktime player still doesn’t prevent the display from going to sleep. WTF? MPlayer OS X , VLC both do it since ever. Why doesn’t apple do this? It’s just frickin’ annoying…
BTW.: at least now you can disable that other annoyance, the dimming of the display halfway thorugh the inactive sleep time. Preferences -> Energy Saver -> Options -> “Automatically reduce the brightness of the display before display sleep”
